Description

Security Footprint conducts a vulnerability scan against a specific set of systems and application services. The key objectives of a vulnerability scan are:

• Identify all remotely accessible network services
• Attempt to identify the type of network service based on its network behaviour (signature)
• Identify all applicable vulnerabilities associated with that particular service and provide the client with a vulnerability baseline for the targeted system.

Security Footprint manually reviews the scan results in order to eliminate false positives and to provide clients with further analysis that typically highlights root cause issues within an environment.
